The Story of My Tooth

In the holidays, I had my tooth taken out. I went to the dentist and she said I could have it extracted (that means taken out) or have a root canal (that means hours and hours of work on my tooth). I had it taken out. I had to wait a  while. Then, finally it was my turn. I  went into a different room with lots of people. I had to suck in air and gas that was coming in through a mask then blow out to try and pop a balloon. Soon I was fast asleep. When I woke up I was in a room called the recovery room. I got an ice block and then mum came in. Then I moved to a different room with a t.v in it. Then someone who called herself "the tooth  fairy" and gave me my tooth. And here is my tooth and gap. THE END :-)

What a great recount, Zef! You were so brave (considering you went 16 whole hours without food or drink, while waiting for your surgery. Bet that ice block tasted soooo good!) Good work sharing the story :-)

Hi Zephyr!
You're very brave getting that tooth out! Have you ever read, Andrew's Loose Tooth by Robert Munsch? It's about a boy with a loos tooth and all the crazy tricks he does. It looks like you went the sensible route and saw the dentist!

Your post was well written. The red highlighting made it a little hard to read.
I look forward to your next post!

Hi Zephyr, sounds like you made the right choice with your tooth. I liked hearing how it was taken out or extracted. Hopefully you won't have to have any more out. Enjoy your year with your new class.

Hi Zephyr,

I enjoyed reading about your tooth extraction. I have had to have a tooth taken out as well, it was my wisdom tooth. Keep up the good work

Thanks for sharing your experience, Zephyr! How are you feeling now? A new and stronger teeth will grow and take place of the old one, trust me. Always remember to brush your teeth properly and visit the dentist regularly. Take care!

Tolafa Zephyr,
A nice recount about your tooth. You were very vivid with the details of being put to sleep - it sounded like fun. Glad to see you still smilling around the school.
